Will a 2.5-tonne truck suit your pallets?
Include goods, pallet and packaging in the weight, then consider load dimensions and centre of gravity. A long, off-centre load can reduce permitted capacity even below the nominal rating.
If pallets regularly approach 2.5 tonnes and must be lifted high, specify the capacity needed at that height. Do not simply add a universal safety margin; technical staff must check the load chart, attachments and actual handling method.

Choose the mast and battery before comparing prices
Lift height and lowered mast height
Rack height determines lifting requirements; doors and routes determine passage. Check them independently. For containers or low roofs, also confirm free lift and overhead-guard height.
Batteries for single or multiple shifts
Battery and charger capacity must suit running hours, lift cycles, travel distances and charging breaks. Published runtime is a reference and cannot replace assessment of the warehouse duty cycle.
What changes the monthly rental rate?
Sideshifters, clamps, specific tyres, higher masts and larger batteries can change the quoted configuration. Separate essential and preferred requirements to compare options clearly.
Fleet size, term, hour limits and delivery location also affect the overall proposal. Request pricing for the actual schedule and state charges for extra shifts or relocation. If output is uncertain, provide two scenarios.
A requirements brief for a 2.5-tonne warehouse truck
State the required 2.5-tonne truck, heaviest load and dimensions, highest rack, narrowest aisle, lowest door, hours per shift, shifts per day, charging power, delivery date and address. Pallet photos help check fork-entry direction and spacing.

Technical support SLA and handover plan
Agree in writing on fault-reporting contacts, service hours, response times, site attendance and arrangements during downtime. Response time is different from repair completion time; record both so the warehouse can plan goods movements.
